Ilkley and District Round Table are busy preparing for the highly anticipated 4th Ilkley Half Marathon which will take place on Sunday 16th July 2023 at 10.30 am.
This year’s event is expected to attract 2,000+ runners and 5,000+ spectators from all over the country. They are proud to have received an ‘outstanding’ 100% rating from UK Athletics in each year for safety and quality.
They also have overwhelmingly positive feedback from runners and their supporters who particularly love the event village – filled with music, food and activities - it really makes for a wonderful family day out. The race takes place in the picturesque surrounds of Ilkley and Wharfedale, which was voted by The Sunday Times as the best place to live in UK in 2022.
The event is volunteer led and 100% of the proceeds goes to local charities and community development, many of which are focused on children and social welfare. The money they raise enriches communities, improves towns and changes lives.
