York 2027: Round Table’s Biggest Birthday Party!

15–19 September 2027 | York, England
If there’s one thing Tablers know how to do, it’s celebrate in style! And in September 2027, we’ve got a pretty good excuse to do exactly that, as Round Table International heads to York to celebrate 100 years of Round Table.
Yes, that’s a whole century of friendship, fellowship, community spirit and, no doubt, the odd late night along the way!

With more than 2,000 Tablers expected from around the world, the RTI World Meeting 2027 is shaping up to be an incredible few days. Whether you’re a seasoned international traveller or someone who’s never ventured beyond your own region, this is a fantastic opportunity to experience the worldwide Round Table family at its very best.
And the best part? It’s happening right here in England!
Welcome to York!
There aren’t many cities better suited to hosting an international gathering than York. Packed with history, character and enough pubs to keep even the most enthusiastic Tabler happy, it’s the perfect backdrop for a centenary celebration.
From its Roman roots and Viking heritage to its medieval streets and iconic landmarks, there’s plenty to explore between events. Much of the city centre is within easy walking distance, meaning less time worrying about transport and more time catching up with old friends, making new ones and discovering what York has to offer.
The York Food & Drink Festival will also be taking place around the same time, giving visitors even more opportunities to sample the local food and drink scene. Just remember, you might need to pace yourself; there’s a whole programme of events to get through!
Five days of friendship, fun and a little bit of madness
The World Meeting promises to be much more than a series of meetings and speeches.
There’s a packed programme designed to bring Tablers together, celebrate our international connections and create memories that will last long after everyone has returned home.
Wednesday gets things started with a festival-style Welcome Night in the beautiful Museum Gardens, featuring live music, food trucks and drinks. It sounds like the perfect way to kick off the week and get everyone in the mood for what’s to come.

Thursday brings a themed evening with a Roman and Viking flavour, complete with BBQ food, cocktails and even ghost tours. So, whether you fancy channelling your inner Viking or simply enjoying a drink while hearing a few spooky stories, there should be something for everyone.
Wed – Thu
Welcome Night & the Viking & Roman Night
A music-festival opening in the Museum Gardens, then themed marquees, a BBQ buffet and real Romans and Vikings.
Fri
AGM, Banner Exchange & Nations Night
Business in the medieval Guildhall, the banner exchange inside York Minster, then every nation's food and traditions.
Sat – Sun
Gala Dinner & Farewell Brunch
A black-tie gala with a famous headliner, then a traditional English garden tea party to say goodbye.
Friday is set to be a real highlight, with the international banner exchange taking place in the magnificent York Minster, followed by Nations Night. Expect an incredible celebration of the different countries, cultures, food and traditions that make Round Table such a unique international organisation.
Saturday is time to dust off the dinner suit for the black-tie Gala Dinner, complete with headline entertainment and a DJ. And after a busy few days, Sunday offers a more relaxed farewell brunch before everyone heads home with a phone full of photos, a few new friendships and probably some stories that are best kept within the Table!

Making the most of the experience
If five days in York doesn’t sound like quite enough, there are also pre-tours around Britain and Ireland, along with additional excursions to help you turn the World Meeting into a proper holiday.
It’s a great opportunity to bring your partner or family along, explore somewhere new and combine a fantastic international event with a few extra days of sightseeing.
And for those who have attended previous World Meetings, you’ll know that some of the best moments happen outside the official programme. It might be reconnecting with someone you haven’t seen for years, discovering a new country through the people you meet, or finding yourself involved in a conversation with Tablers from the other side of the world that carries on long after the event has finished.
That’s the magic of Round Table International. The meeting is the excuse, but the friendships are what make it special.
Worried about the cost? There’s a plan for that!
We all know that international events can be a bit of a commitment, especially when you’re trying to persuade the rest of your Table that this really is the trip they need to book!
The good news is that payment plan options are available to help spread the cost, making it easier to get involved without having to find the whole amount upfront.
Based on the published package prices, there are three options to consider:
3-Day Package – €315
4-Day Package – €350
5-Day Package – €365
And when you look at the difference in price, the five-day package starts to look particularly attractive. It’s only €15 more than the four-day option, so if you’re travelling all that way, why not make the most of it?
The payment plan option allows you to secure your place with a €99 deposit, followed by six equal monthly payments collected automatically from the same card, with no additional charge for using the plan.
That means you can get your place booked, spread the cost and start looking forward to the event rather than waiting until you’ve saved up the full amount.
Just remember to factor in accommodation, travel and any additional tours, as these may be separate from your meeting package. Check the official website for the latest payment terms, package inclusions and booking conditions before registering.
Our advice? Get the conversation started early. Share the details at your next Table meeting, get a group together and make a proper trip of it. International events are always better when you’ve got a few familiar faces travelling with you!
