Billericay Round Table Press Release
Billericay Round Table are proud to be holding our Charity Firework display on Saturday 5th November at Lake Meadows park in Billericay. This event is completely organised by our members aged between 18 and 45 years of age, our team continue to work hard to keep this event as the biggest and best event of it's kind in Essex. Following on from their success in previous years, there is a resounding confidence that this year will be another great family evening to remember.
We are really keen to encourage our community to purchase firework tickets online via our dedicated website as this will save queuing times entering the park on the night. Our website allows for quick access to purchase tickets online. It is really encouraging to see a few thousand tickets being purchased within first two weeks and strongly recommend you buy tickets now. The club's Media & PR Officer, Gary Tilley, commented: "After two years break due to COVID we are real keen to make this event and raise good money for our Charity account which will allow us to do donate money out to good local causes and projects as well as individuals that need assistance. We know from recent events people do travel from across the South East, for a local charity event this is great to see."
This year, Joe Sandercock is the main event organiser, it's Joe's first time as the big boss and is doing a sterling job, we are all keen to see another great weekend. As well as the Radio Essex with Martin, Su and Marky T on stage keeping the croud entertained wilt some great local singing acts. The large bonfire will be lit and £20k worth of fireworks will be wowing the expected (and approximate) 15k crowd.
There will be a variety of food and drink facilities available throughout the evening. Gates open at 5:30pm, full event details can be viewed on our website and facebook page.
Round Table chairman, Neil Cambell expressed his “thanks to our community and local supporters who ensure the event goes off with a BANG. We are also very grateful to the volunteers who assisted us before, during and after the event, all of their effort is hugely appreciated."
