Sunday saw one Tabler complete the gruelling Wales Ironman race in Pembrokeshire.
Colin who is currently the Chairman of the Mid Argyll Round Table battled his way through a 2.4 mile swim, 112 mile cycle and 26.2 mile run to finish the event in a time of 13 hours 21 minutes.
The race is one of the toughest long distance competitions around and requires an incredible feat of mental and physical strength.
The main reason behind Colin taking part was to raise money for two charities close to his heart, Macmillan Cancer Support, who were kind enough to give him the chance to compete in the race through their charity place and Bloodwise who work to support those affected by all forms of blood cancer.
The current total stands at over £3400 pound and every penny of the donations will be split between the two charities.
There is still time for you to reward Colin’s brilliant effort and support either of these wonderful causes.
