This year’s January Jaunt, organised by Plymouth Round Table saw its biggest year yet!
With over 515 entries received and 460 completing the race, Plymouth Round Table have been organising the January Jaunt race for over 25 years and saw the best year yet. We spoke with Round Table member Gary, the race director for the last 4 years, about the event;
“What a great event the January Jaunt 2017 was! Thank you all for the brilliant support. The event saw a great atmosphere and lots of money raised for worthy local causes.
Over the last few years we have seen steady growth in the entry levels. At Plymouth Round Table we organise two races each year; one in January and one in March over the same course with the start and finish area kindly provided by Plymouth Devils Speedway. The races raise in excess of £5,000 per annum for good causes, which is a great addition to our annual Christmas collections - helping lots of people who really need our help.
We hope to see you all at our next race in March, the March Hare.”
The annual winter 10k race proved more popular than ever this year with a sell-out event. To see the final January Jaunt results click here
