Taking part in Dry January? Not long to go, and to celebrate Lampeter Round Table are ready and waiting with a pint with your name on this February, at their annual Beer and Cider festival.
Join the guys from Lampeter Round Table on Saturday 18th February 2017 at the University Arts Hall in Lampeter for the annual Beer and Cider festival. This year the Round Table members will be supporting Ty Hafan Children’s Hospice.
We spoke to Lampeter Round Table member Rob about the annual festival;
“This will be our third annual festival of Welsh beers and ciders. The doors open at mid-day with the event running until 11pm. We will be featuring over 25 different beers, craft lagers and ciders from producers all over Wales. The full list will appear on our Facebook page and website before the event, so keep your eyes peeled.”
Admission to the festival costs £3 and includes a special glass for you to keep. You can upgrade and get a glass tankard for £6. There will also be a programme of live music from local bands and a souvenir programme to check off your favourite drinks. Hot food will also be available and there will be an opportunity to try your hand at darts during the event.
Lampeter Round Table Beer festival proceeds will be used to support Ty Hafan Children’s Hospice. The hospice is one of the UK’s leading paediatric palliative care charities and offers care to children and support for their families, throughout Wales. Ty Hafan are dedicated to offering comfort, care and support to life-limited children, young people and their families in the hospice, in the community and in their home so they can make the most of the time they have left together.
Lampeter Round Table said “We are really pleased to be supporting local charity Ty Hafan Children’s Hospice at this year’s festival and as well as receiving the profits from the event, fundraisers will be present to explain about the hospice’s work.”
