On the 4th February people from all over the world will unite on World Cancer Day to raise awareness for the battle against cancer.
Here at Round Table, we need your help to support Anthony Nolan in their work to build a future where every patient survives the illness.
Every 20 minutes, someone in the UK is told they have a blood cancer
Anthony Nolan have been saving the lives of people with blood cancer and other blood disorders since 1974 when Shirley Nolan set up the first donor register to match donors with people in desperate need.
Round Table are key supporters of Anthony Nolan, ever since 1986 when Table members across Great Britain & Ireland played an instrumental role in adding 100,000 names onto the register in just six weeks.
This World Cancer Day, Anthony Nolan are encouraging people to purchase and wear a unity band to show your support and help to fund their lifesaving work.
The Unity band is made of two parts, knotted together, to ‘represent strength in unity and the power of what can be achieved when people join forces
Ten charities have joined together to sell these unity bands with each charity offering one in their own colours.
The Anthony Nolan wrist band is available for a donation of £2 and can be purchased from the Anthony Nolan website.
