Round Table is hoping to bowl over a brand new audience as the Association raises its profile to new levels at the third Ashes Test at Edgbaston this week
(29th - 31st July)
Working in partnership with Birmingham-based Elonex Outdoor Media, the Round Table Roundel and web address will be visible to a daily audience of 25,000 spectators inside the stadium and across the globe with the five-day match being covered live by Sky Sports, with UK highlights on Channel 5.
A 10-second advert will be shown every five minutes and up to 120 times a day on the latest LED advertising platform located in the prime position underneath Edgbaston’s famous scoreboard.
It will be a first for Round Table as it looks to raise awareness of the Association at the biggest sporting event of the summer – which is finely poised between England and Australia.
National Marketing & PR Officer Lee McLaughlan said: “This rare opportunity to promote Round Table at the Ashes was one not to be missed with more than 100,000 people, the majority of them men, attending over the course of the Test Match.
“To be able to promote the Association at such a high-profile event and to our core audience for five straight days is new territory as we look to make more people aware of Round Table and what we do.
“Factoring in a TV audience of more than 1m puts Round Table on the biggest possible stage, which I am optimistic will increase the profile of the Association.
“The timing couldn’t better either as Round Table prepares for its national Discover Round Table campaign in September.”
