The Marchesi Room project marks months of hard work by members across the Round Table family to mark the birthplace of an international movement.
The room at Norwich’s Cinema City marks the place where the first ever Round Table meeting was held. The launch on August 22nd was attended by President’s from all four clubs and 41 Club President Barry Durman cut the ribbon.
The Marchesi Room forms part of a larger project for the cinema which has seen the creation of a new screen heritage centre at Cinema City. The project became a reality thanks to donations from Round Table clubs worldwide, 41 Club donations and individual donations.
A number of historic and commemorative Round Table items will now be held at the site.
