It was fundraising with fisticuffs for Spalding Round Table who hosted a boxing dinner on Saturday with a heavyweight special guest.
David Haye joined the lads from Spalding as the Table raised in the region of £10,000.
More than 500 guests enjoyed a three-course meal, prize auction, sparring demonstration and nine fights featuring Army and Police Clubs GB teams at the Springfields Events and Conference Centre on Saturday.
Spalding’s 22nd boxing event was a huge success and the main organiser of the event Tom Bradshaw says he has already had Table requests for next year’s event.
All of the proceeds from the event will go straight back into the community, last year Spalding were able to donate a £9,500 minibus to The Pennygate Foundation in Spalding to help people with dementia, mental health problems, learning needs and alcohol problems.
