For most, completing just one marathon is more than enough of an accomplishment, and rightly so, they’re seriously hard, but for Tom Boother of Ipswich Greyfairs Round Table a measly 26 miles is not enough, instead he is planning to run the 815 miles from Lands End to John O’ Groats.
Tom is known as the running man in Ipswich and has previously completed a number of ultra-marathons in preparation for the John O’ Groats challenge which will see him run an average of 60 miles a day. By day Tom is a motivational speaker who uses his experience of finishing some of Europe’s toughest marathons to give an alternative look at how individuals can achieve more in business.
Tom is taking on this monumental challenge for Great Ormond Street Hospital and East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices.
Tom is still looking for sponsorship as well as inviting Tablers throughout the country to join him during his challenge.
