Yesterday (Sunday 7th February) Southport Hesketh Round Table saw a record 2,500 runners take part in their annual Mad Dog 10k, and they have just announced a James Bond theme for next year’s event – Live and Let Drool.
The event, which has twice been voted as Britain’s best 10k by Runners World magazine sold out months ago and registration for the 2017 race starts tomorrow (February 9th) so get in early to avoid disappointment.
The race is full of runners fundraising for different charities such as Barrow for Marrow who completed the race with a wheelbarrow and will donate the money raised to the Anthony Nolan charity.
